Tournament # 2 for the 2026/2027 FLA Season we will be fishing out of the Jim King Ramp Sat. Oct. 3rd for 4 flounder. Additional details will be posted once we are closer to the tournament.
Safe light is 6:55am. The staging area will be the bridge fenders to the south and the concrete bulkhead of the ramp to the north. Odd teams start 1st and Even is a few mins behind. An air horn will signal the start. You must be back in this area by 3pm or you will be DQ'd.
Weigh-in will begin at 3:20 PM. Please use our mesh weigh bags to speed up the weigh-in process. Flounder must measure a minimum of 14 inches. Remember 4 fish beats 3 and 3 beats 2 regardless of weight in the point total. All fish must be weighed and released alive, if alive at the scale. 1 lbs penalty for weighing a dead fish.
Lifejackets and K*ll switch on when the big motor is running. Common water safety rules must be followed at all times. No passing in minimum or no wake zones. No boundaries, except running or fishing in the ocean (past inlet's jetty).
After weighing your fish, please present your catch for a quick photo and live Facebook feed. We will recognize the tournament's top 3 at the weigh in so stick around for the presentation.
If this is your 1st time fishing with the FLA, we encourage you to arrive by 6:30 am so you have plenty of time to check in and launch. Typical practice is to park, check in with tournament director, prepare your boat, and then launch.
