Mayor Don Walters is excited to announce the 2025 Tree Lighting Event! Festivities will begin at 4:00 p.m. with ice carving demonstrations, crafts, train rides, a petting zoo, and live reindeer. Santa Claus and Mayor Walters will arrive and light the tree at City Hall at 6:15 p.m., followed by a drone show from the Natatorium parking lot. Photo opportunities and food trucks will be available throughout the event.
Food Trucks: Travelin' Tom's Coffee, Eddie's Cheesesteaks, DJ's Snack Shack, It's a Chicago Thing, Brooks BBQ, and Southern Thangs.
The ice rink at the Downtown Plaza will be open for skating on Saturday, November 29, from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. Admission is free. Skate rental is $5. Visit https://www.cityofcf.com/places/ice-skating-rink for complete ice rink hours and more information.
