Come to the 8th annual Tour of the Arts (formerly Artist Studio Tour) and enjoy exploring the art and culture filled neighborhood of Historic Kenwood! This is a unique, once-a-year opportunity not only to browse and collect the best local art from the artists themselves, but to chat one-on-one with creators and experience for yourself the inspiring settings where they work and live. You’ll even find live demos by some of our artists, revealing details of their creative process from concept to finished artwork.
The 30+ artists who are opening their homes and studios to you range from the internationally known to innovators fresh on the scene. The self-guided tour includes work by ceramicists, sculptors, jewelers, photographers, mixed multi-media artists, fine art painters and more. Begin anywhere you like – maps are available online and at all tour stops.
You can also pick up paper maps in advance from any of our neighborhood partner businesses, such as Sugar Cream Clay and Craftsman House!
But the best part of the tour is that when you see something that speaks to you – and with all these artists participating, there’s a good chance you will – it will be ready to go home with you. Plus adding to your collection or buying gifts for friends and family can help you win raffle prizes from local businesses! (Details will be found on your map.)
