2025 Spring Symposium: "Landscape and Working Lands Conservation"

Sponsored by the University of Florida / IFAS School of Forest, Fisheries, and Geomatics Sciences and the Florida Division Society of American Foresters, the 2025 Spring Symposium will explore the many landscape and working lands conservation initiatives and partnerships happening across Florida.

Join us for a round-up of ongoing conservation and land management partnership projects like the Florida Wildlife Corridor, Sentinel Landscapes, Ocala to Osceola (O2O), Regional Conservation Partnership Programs, and others. We'll also discus new payment-for-ecosystem-services markets and new devlopments in wood product markets.

This will be a unique opportunity to enhance your understanding of working lands conservation efforts happening around the state, and find opportunities where you and/or your clientele can engage with these important initiatives.

Foresters, continuing education credits for the the 2025 Spring Symposium are pending approval. As always, if credits are approved, be sure to sign the CFE attendance sheets at the end of each day in order to get credit.

NOTE: Registrations completed after April 8 may not be guaranteed a pre-printed name badge. We'll have supplies for DIY name badges at the check-in table.

Overnight accommodations
For those needing overnight accommodations a block of rooms with a special event rate will be set up at the Best Western Gateway Grand Hotel in Gainesville. Details are pending.
