This is the 15th Annual Sioux Falls Open Martial Arts Tournament, the region's largest open tournament, hosted by DMA. Past tournaments have included students from Taekwondo, Jujitsu, Judo, Karate, Kung-Fu, Capoeira, BJJ, Kendo, American Kickboxing, and many other styles from around the region. This year we are changing to a two day format for the tournament. Saturday will be the striking and weapons events, and Sunday will be the grappling events.

PRICING:
Early Bird Pricing - $40 per competitor plus $5 per event -
Available until March 1st
Normal Registration Pricing - $45 per competitor plus $5 per event -
March 1 - April 15th
Late Registration Pricing - $55 per competitor plus $5 per event -
April 15 - April 25 at 12:30 P.M
Spectators - $5 per person or $20 per family each day.

BRACKETS AND SCHEDULE:
Registration and Bracketing will be done using SmoothComp this year. Friday Afternoon before the tournament, event brackets and a schedule will be released on that platform. You will be able to locate both on the event page brackets and schedule tab. The referee at your mat will also make a courtesy call for you to come to the mat if you haven’t already presented yourself for the bracket. Please be at the mat on time for your matches. We ask that you make sure to be present in the venue at least 60 minutes prior your division start time as well, fast matches or short forms sometimes allow us to get a head start on certain divisions. You can also tell when your matches are coming up by checking the tab on your mobile device during the competition.

Friday, April 25th, 2024 - 12:30 P.M. - Registration Closes - No changes to registration can be made after this date.

8:30 A.M. - Doors open - Grappling Weigh-ins Begin
10:00 - Judges & Instructors Meeting
10:30- Opening Ceremony
10:45 - Competition Begins
Order of Events: Black Belt Forms, Traditional Forms, Freestyle Forms, Weapons Forms, Point Fighting, Padded Sword
6:00 P.M. - Competition Ends for the Day
Sunday April 27th, 2024
8:30 A.M. - Doors open
9:30 A.M. - All competitors must be weighed in
10:00 - Judges & Instructors Meeting
10:30 - Competition Begins
Order of Events: Any remaining events from Saturday, No Gi Grappling, Gi Grappling, Sport Jujitsu

Bracket Combinations:
After the 12:30 P.M. deadline on April 25th to edit registration information, competitors that do not have anyone in their division will be combined into another appropriate division. The goal is to provide every competitor with the best competition available.
Registration Cancellation Policy
In the event you must cancel your registration, you may do so as until April 15th. After the 15th no refunds will be provided.
Weigh-Ins
Weigh-ins will occur on Saturday April 26th beginning at 8:30 A.M. Grappling and Sport Jujitsu weigh-ins must be completed by 9:30 A.M. on Sunday, April 27th. If you have not weighed in by 9:30 A.M. on April 27th, you may be disqualified and removed from the bracket without refund.
