2025 Roots, Boots & Bling!

Family Roots for Life Inc.® cordially invites community members partners and advocates to its highly anticipated annual fundraiser Roots Boots & Bling on Friday September 26 2025 from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Houston Marriott Sugar Land.

This spirited Western-glam themed celebration aims to raise vital funds for initiatives supporting youth—particularly transitional age youth (ages 16 to 24) preparing for independent living after foster care—as well as families throughout Greater Houston and neighboring communities.

Attendees will enjoy an inspiring evening filled with music dancing dinner cocktails and a silent auction all in service of the organization’s mission: to reunite reconnect and restore children youth and families through social emotional and behavioral health services that promote well-being and long-term stability.

“Transitional age youth face some of the most significant hurdles without the safety nets many of us take for granted” said Atasha M. Kelley-Harris M.Ed. CFLE LCPAA Founding President and CEO. “By investing in their growth and well-being we empower them to overcome systemic barriers and embrace a future filled with opportunity and purpose.”

Funds raised during the event will support impactful programs including life skills development financial literacy parenting support mental wellness and mentorship. These services are designed to ensure that young people build the skills and confidence needed to thrive in adulthood.
