2025 Rock The Boat Benefit Concert

The Joshua Murray Boating, Safety, Education and Awareness Center, located at Blythe Landing, is dedicated to saving lives on the water by educating boaters and providing critical safety resources. We’ve already made an impact, but there’s still so much more we can do. This event will allow us to expand our reach and continue offering free, high-quality boating safety education to the public.
What This Fundraiser Will Support:

Funds raised will or could go directly toward:
* Launching the National Safe Boating Council’s Boat On Program – Bringing advanced, hands-on on-water training to LKN boaters.
* Providing essential safety equipment – Life jackets, distress signals, and fire extinguishers that we often distribute during vessel safety inspections conducted by the USCG behind the center.
* Enhancing the education center – Upgraded materials, window graphics, new signage, and interactive displays to improve the visitor experience.
* Supporting youth programs and summer camps – Giving young boaters hands-on training, safety lessons, and unforgettable learning opportunities.

Our community is built around the water, and boating safety affects everyone, from recreational boaters and families to first responders and local businesses. Every dollar raised will help create a safer, more knowledgeable boating culture, ensuring that everyone who enjoys the water is better prepared to handle emergencies and prevent accidents.
