Two students from each of the School of Creative and Performing Arts and Mount Royal University Conservatory perform as soloists with the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra as part of our annual RBC/Calgary Phil Concerto Concert.Representing University of Calgary, SCPA:
Kathy Pham, piano: Rachmaninoff – Piano Concerto No. 1 in F♯ minor, Op. 1, 1st movement
Isaac Willocks, violin: Brahms – Violin Concerto in D major, Op. 77, 1st movement
Representing Mount Royal University Conservatory:
Chanan Ngo, violin: Sibelius – Violin Concerto in D minor, Op. 47, 1st movement
Takumi Rodgers, cello: Dvořák – Cello Concerto in B minor, Op. 104, B. 191, 1st movement
Conducted by Edmond Agopian
Tickets: $14 (general) / $11 (students/seniors)
