The Sacred Harp Singers of Portland OR are happy to invite one and all to join us on October 18 and 19th for two days of singing from the brand new 2025 edition of the Denson Sacred Harp!Singing is from 9:30am-3:00pm Saturday and Sunday, and free to all (donations welcome!). Registration begins at 9am.
Other activities:
Thursday the 16th, 7-9pm: Third Thursday Shenandoah Harmony Singing, in the Community Room at the Kennedy School (5736 NE 33rd Avenue)
Friday the 17th, 7-9pm: Singing School by David Wright, at the Musician's Union Hall (325 NE 20th Avenue)
There will be socials on Saturday evening and on Sunday immediately after singing.
We will have childcare available both Saturday and Sunday, please RSVP for childcare if at all possible (to [email protected]). Dinner on the Grounds is from noon-1pm, please bring something to share if you can!
Covid testing is requested each day that you sing (Friday, Saturday, Sunday). Please stay home if you are ill or have any respiratory symptoms, out of care for each other and our elder and immuno-compromised singers. We do have an abundance of Covid tests onsite to share with all singers; please show up early to grab some and if you need to test onsite any of the days.
