2025 Oconee 4-H State Fair Delegation

Mark your calendars for 4-H Day at the SC State Fair—Saturday, October 11, 2025! Wear your favorite 4-H gear (or show your membership card) for FREE admission!

This is an opportunity to indicate your intention to attend the State Fair on October 11 during 4-H day. By registering here, I can help you get your member card for free admission, and am willing do potentially drive youth if no chaperone is available (a second adult in the volunteer system will be required).

I will updating this event description (and sending those details to registered participants) as I get more details, so stay tuned!

4-H Day at the State Fair:

Saturday, Oct. 11 -4-H Day

10am - 9pm Admission, buildings open 10am - 9pm, rides from 11am - midnight!

CATTLE: Nutt Cattle Arena

• 9am, Dairy Cattle Shows Starting
• Barns closed during milking hours of 12-6pm.

4-H SHOWMANSHIP CONTEST: Academic Avenue Field behind Swifty Swine racing pigs

• 10am, Rabbit and Poultry categories

HORSES: Horse Barn

• 11am, Youth Horse Show
• SC Costume Contest at the end of the show day

SWINE: Swine Barn

• 1pm, Swine Shows begin

• 1pm, Parade of counties and county roll call hosted by the SC4H Teen Council

Membership requirement: Current 4-H membership (must have registered since September 1, 2025) in is required for participation in this event. Current members will have free admission to the State Fair on October 11

Custodial Care: AT THIS TIME: Please note that this event and its coordinators do not assume custodial care of youth in attendance. Adults (parents, guardians, volunteers, coaches, or chaperones) must be present for the supervision of youth participants.

If needed - we can shift to custodial care, and the following will become true:

Youth must be approved, enrolled members in 4HOnline with South Carolina 4-H Youth Development to attend this event. This is a custodial care event. Only adult chaperones and invited facilitators approved to be at the event will be allowed onsite during this event. Youth must be signed in and signed out by a parent/guardian or designated representative.
