Presented by Screen Education Edinburgh and North Edinburgh Arts, the North Edinburgh Film Festival is a day of celebrating community cinema and filmmaking in North Edinburgh. The event is being programmed and planned with and by local artists and film enthusiasts.The third edition of the festival will be held at West Pilton Neighbourhood Centre, and will include a diverse programme of over 30 films, made locally as well as further afield, film installations, workshops for different ages, a performance and free food for attendees. There's something for everyone to enjoy and explore!
Admission is free, advance booking isn't required.

11:00am FILM PROGRAMME STARTS
Screen1: From North Edinburgh
Screen 2: Short animations from around the world, and local artists' films
The Changing Rooms: Film Installations
The Function Hall: Children's workshop
12:15pm: LUNCH in the Sports Hall
1:00pm: FILM PROGRAMME CONTINUES
Screen 1: Short films continue throughout the day with discussion, and tea breaks around every 45 mins

4:30pm: FINAL FILM PROGARMME
8 short films made locally, especially for NEFF 2025, with audience awards presentations and closing celebration
