2025 North Carolina Kubb Championship

Welcome to the 2025 North Carolina Kubb Championship!

Get ready to test your Kubb skills at the River Run Athletic Park for the second stop on the 2025 Atlantic Kubb Tour! Join us for a fun-filled day of friendly competition and outdoor excitement. Whether you're a seasoned pro or new to the game, this event is perfect for players of all levels. Bring your family and friends to cheer you on as you aim to become the Kubb champion of North Carolina!

Teams of 2 - 6 players per team. $45 per team.
Check in/ Practice begins at 7:30 AM and play starts at 9:00 AM.
We will be using the U.S. National Kubb Championship® Ruleset with the exception of four rules:

-Minimum 2 players, no player may throw more than 3 batons per round.
-The "Neighbor Rule" which can be found in the Kubb United Rules for Open Play.
-Verticle rotation of the baton CANNOT exceed 45 degrees or it is considered an illegal throw and the baton will be forfeited for that turn.
-Once all field Kubbs are raised the offensive team may choose to remove the center pin while throwing batons. NOTE: All pins must be replaced after the turn is over.
There will be 7 qualifying rounds of single games, each having a 25 minute time limit using the Tournament Director tournament management software. You can visit keystonekubb.com/tournamentdirector.html for more info.

After qualification rounds, the top 8 teams will be seeded in the Championship Bracket, the next 24 teams (9-32) will be seeded in the Silver bracket. All teams that enter are guaranteed to play 8 games.
The tournament will be played with painted Country Kubb Tournament Sets.
