2025 New Orleans Excellence in Teaching Awards Gala presented by Entergy

Join us to celebrate our city's most outstanding teachers at the New Orleans Excellence in Teaching Awards Gala, presented by Entergy! The award is a part of the Allstate Sugar Bowl New Orleans Teacher Community initiative.

Dress to impress and get ready to mingle with fellow educators, school administrators, and community members. The night will be filled with delicious food, drinks, and live entertainment.

The New Orleans Excellence in Teaching Awards are bestowed on the city's top educators — one from each New Orleans public school — and include a $1,000 Classroom Excellence Grant.

Join us as we recognize and honor these dedicated educators, who are making the difference for students across New Orleans.

• 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. - Teacher's Pre-Gala Party
• 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. - Patron Party for sponsors and key guests
• 7:00 - 11:00 p.m. - Gala

• Heavy hors d'oeuvres will be served
• Open bar with a great selection of premium wines, liquors, and non-alcoholic drinks

• You will not need a physical ticket to enter the Gala. Additional information for entry will be provided post-purchase.
• We want to see you all dressed up! N OETA is a black-tie preferred event.
• Purchase your ticket(s) early. We anticipate a sold-out event.
• Valet parking is available but is limited. We strongly encourage carpooling and ridesharing.
• You will receive a "Know-Before-You-Go" email with additional event details prior to the Gala.

Demonstrate your appreciation for New Orleans educators while enjoying the perks of sponsorship, including tickets to the NOETA Gala and the Patron Party, quarter-page advertisements or special messages in the NOETA program, and reserved tables for you and your guests.

• Teacher’s Favorite ($5,000): You and your guests join the fun with 10 tickets to the NOETA Gala and Patron Party, along with a reserved 10-top Grand Ballroom Table.

Below are exclusive and very limited sponsorship opportunities. With these sponsorship levels, your partnership will infuse more contributions directly into classrooms across New Orleans.

• Jubilee Sponsor ($10,000): You chose to sponsor one of two event bars: The NOETA Gala Spirit Stations or The Teacher Fest Beer & Wine Bars. In addition to event signage, your company’s name and logo will be put on bar napkins or event-specific stadium cups!
• Patron Sponsor ($20,000): Sponsorship at this level provides you with two options. Associate your name with the NOETA Patron Party, attended by 300+ New Orleans civic, business, and education leaders or the NOLA Eats Bar, which is the main Teacher Fest food station where 3,000+ educators will enjoy New Orleans famous Fest Food! Both options provide you with an additional opportunity to add your organization’s name and logo to swag, such as a patron gift or a Teacher Fest water bottle.
• Revelry Sponsor ($35,000): You bring the revelry and see your company’s name featured on the Teacher Fest Stage, where your commitment will be seen by 3,000+ Fest attendees! Past performers Brass-a-holics, The Soul Rebels, and Tanya Boyd-Cannon.
• Top 3% Sponsor ($50,000): Your leadership entitles you to naming rights of a special place: The NOETA Interactive Lounge, a dynamic interactive destination that includes two bars and is adjacent to the main ballroom. Prior to the Gala, the Top 3% Teacher Pre-Party will be hosted in the Lounge. In addition to your reserved 10-top Grand Ballroom Table, Top 3% Sponsors will also receive 2 reserved 4-top Lounge Tables.
• Teacher's Gift Add On: Your additional donation of $5,000 provides each NOETA winner with an additional $50, increasing each New Orleans Classroom Excellence Grant to $1,050
