Join us Tuesday, October 14, from 7–8 PM in the Southwest Ballroom of TWU’s Student Union in Hubbard Hall for this free, in-person event, followed by a Q&A session moderated by 2025 Paup Lecture Series Ambassador Tammie Jo Shults. A video of this lecture will be made available after the event.
Amelia Rose Earhart knows what it means to venture into uncharted territory, with courage and confidence. Named after the legendary aviator, Amelia honored her namesake by piloting a single-engine aircraft 28,000 nautical miles around the globe. Along the way, she raised nearly $2 million in corporate sponsorships, balanced a full-time career as a TV helicopter reporter, and founded the Fly With Amelia Foundation to support young women pursuing aviation.
Now a full-time speaker, podcast host, and artist, Amelia shares lessons from her 2014 global flight with audiences around the world—from the Reagan Library to Lockheed Martin. Don’t miss this inspiring conversation about agility, determination, and navigating life’s turbulence with purpose.
