2025 Mystery Ball

Enjoy a black-tie evening of intrigue, fine food, free drinks, and dancing at the historic Dauphin County Courthouse for a thrilling M**der mystery where you or your team can compete to solve the crime at this fundrasier. Mingle with prominent attorneys, politicians, members of the press, and other distinguished guests!

Here are some highlights:

• Hors d'oeuvres and bartenders provided by the prestigious Stocks on 2nd
• DJ Ben Simcox Music with a variety of music - something for everyone to dance to
• Open bar all evening
• VIP tickets are limited to 60 but include exclusive courthouse tour, cloth VIP bracelets, preferential seating during the performance, and mention on our "Thank You" board showcased during the event.
• Good Cause: this is a fundraiser for DCBF that pays for an attorney at MidPenn Legal for low-income children and their families to access justice
• Donation Station Kiosk CONTEST: cash, credit cards & live kiosk. Earn a gold sticker each time you donate... let's see who has the most gold stickers by the end of the night - on their detective kits or bodies! Winner(s) with the most get publicly thanked and may show off their hard-earned stickers before we depart.
• Live, interactive M**der MYSTERY play/game guests can participate in individually or with a team - perfect for corporate teambuilding. Use your cell phone, no app download required (Crowdpurr)
• FREE TICKETS for those who are selected to star in our performance - contact [email protected] for details on auditions (only 10 of these, so act fast!)
• Fully original M**der mystery script and performance by our actors: Guests will be seated in a courtroom to view the drama and interrogations, then move down to the "Evidence Room" to crack codes, solve puzzles, and compete live to see which team is the best!
• FREE "Detective Kit" - small notepad and pen, and game instructions for participants.
• TROPHIES awarded to each member of the winning team! Teams can be up to 10 people and need a name and 1 Team Leader.
• Anticipating appearances from prominent politicians, members of the press, and the area's top attorneys and developers.
• Harrisburg's first M**der mystery ball and most prestigious black-tie event of 2025! Only 150 tickets, so get yours before they sell out!

Here is how the night will go: Food, free drinks, DJ/dancing & donation station starting at 6PM. Brief announcements and proclamations to follow, as well as verbal thanks to people who made the night possible. VIP Courthouse tours at 6:30.

At 7PM, interested guests move upstairs to a courthouse to watch our M**der Mystery performance - full of thrills, laughs, and surprises during the "trial," where someone drops over, "dead!"

After the bailiff takes control of the situation and interrogates the suspects, at appx. 7:30 the audience proceeds downstairs to our "Evidence Room" to view the evidence/clues for themselves. Each player either plays individually or forms a team of up to 10 with a name. The Team Leader scans the QR code with their cell phone (No app download required) where they can enter their team's answers for the clues/evidence. Each clue earns a certain amount of points based on difficulty, and some may be unsolvable within the time frame provided. The team or individual with the most points by 8PM WINS! Every member of that team will receive a trophy. There will be a tiebreaker clue if necessary.

Afterwards, celebrate the fun with more drinks, more dancing, and more amazing memories in this one-of-a-kind elegant affair!

This is not a masked event, but guests may wear one if they like.

Imagine gathering a team of friends or coworkers of up to 10, competing against other teams of friends and/or coworkers, and winning one of these for each member on your team!

Info: Bring some cash, bring some credit, bring some generosity and get an "I Donated" sticker and our gratitude each time you make a donation! We will have an informal contest to see who has the most stickers by the end of the night - on their detective kits or on their bodies! Winner(s) with the most get publicly thanked and can show off their hard-earned stickers before we depart. This will be a fun way to help a good cause!
