ATTENTION: DUE TO FORECASTED INCLEMENT WEATHER, THE DRIVE HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED TO MLK DAY, MONDAY, JAN 20th.The Green Chair Project, Kramden Institute, and Note in the Pocket unite for their third annual MLK Day donation drive, honoring Martin Luther King, on MONDAY, January 20th!
Three local non-profits will join forces with to collect in-kind donations to support local families impacted by homelessness, crisis or disaster.
On Monday there will be a drive-through donation collection from 9 AM to 2 PM at The Green Chair Project’s headquarters at 1853 Capital Boulevard, Raleigh, NC.
We ask that all donations be cleaned and sorted into household essentials, technology, and gently used clothing before arrival.
A few of this year’s most needed items include:
● Couches, Upholstered Chairs, Dining Tables and Chairs
● Dressers, Side Tables, Lamps, Wall Art and Accessories
● Dishware, Small Kitchen Appliances and Utensils
● K-12 Shirts, Pants, Shoes, Coats and New Underwear/Socks
● Winter Coats for Adults & Children
● Computers, Tablets, or Cell Phones (Working or Not)
