Housing Inventory – Inventories are down – not enough houses to sell
Housing Sales – Prices have continued to accelerate up about 40% pre-Covid to today
Will County AGAIN #1 in IL building single-family homes – we are dominating!
Since 2000 Will County has added 66,000 single-family homes. In the same timeframe we have added only 6,000 multi-family units. Multi-family in WC is 13% of housing stock. In DuPage County it is 29%; in Lake County it is 22%. Just to catch Lake County, we would need to add 30,000 multi-family units before we build one more single family home.
