2025 Lake County Farm Tour

UF/IFAS Extension Lake County invites you to attend the 16th Annual Lake County Farm Tour. The day starts with an orientation at the Extension Office auditorium, followed by a guided bus tour led by Extension Agents who share agricultural insights and answer questions along the way. This year’s stops include innovative sites like the A.H. Whitmore USDA Citrus Research Farm, Quality by Design and UF/IFAS research plots, Heather Oaks Farm, and Goodwin Orchids.

The tour highlights the growing impact of sustainability and local charm in Lake County’s agricultural community. Lunch, snacks, and a goody bag are included. Reserve your spot soon, as this event fills up quickly!

This tour includes visits to active, working farms, which may involve walking on uneven terrain. Expect extended periods of walking and standing, with limited seating available throughout the day. For your safety and comfort, closed-toed shoes are required.
