🏀 The 9th Annual Indy Hoops and Heroes – A Game for a Cause! 🏀 Join us for an exciting afternoon of family fun, friendly competition, and community support at the 9th Annual Hoops and Heroes event! This year, the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) and the Indianapolis Firefighters (IFD) will battle it out on the court in a thrilling showdown—all in support of survivors of domestic violence. IMPD is looking to defend its title after last year’s victory!
New for 2025!
We’re excited to introduce the First Annual Indy Hoops and Heroes Women’s 3-on-3 Game! The action-packed men’s game will follow immediately after.

Why We Play:
On April 17, 2019, IMPD Officer Kimberlee Carmack was tragically murdered by her ex-husband after enduring years of domestic violence. In her honor, Hoops and Heroes was created to raise awareness and funds to support survivors and combat domestic violence. Since 2014, the event has raised over $300,000.
