CMU’s 2025 Homecoming game and parade is Saturday, October 25th. However, the brothers and Alumni of CMU’s Delta Alpha Chapter of Sigma Pi have lined up activities for Friday and Saturday that weekend.
The celebration will include recognition of Pi’s that graduated from CMU this past year, as well as alumni in attendance who have achieved their 50+ year anniversary since pledging the fraternity.
The itinerary:
Friday evening, October 24: Early Bird Alumni Welcome at the Sigma Pi House, 1016 S. Main: 6:00pm – 8:00pm. Pulled Pork and BYOD. The party will move to the Blackstone Bar (212 W. Michigan St), where the active chapter has reserved us a space.
Saturday, October 25:
• Bagels, donuts, coffee and and Bloody Mary’s at 1016 hosted by the chapter. Donations welcome. 8:30am.
• At 10:00
o 2025 Scholarship presentation
o Winter 2024 and Spring / Summer 2025 Sigma Pi CMU graduate recognition
o Recognition of Alumni brothers who have reached their 50 year-plus anniversary (pledged 1975 and earlier) and are in attendance
• The Homecoming Parade at 11:00am. Our MCAC/Chapter will have a float participating in the parade.
• After the parade, the gathering moves to the Stadium, where the Chapter has space within CMU’s Tailgating area. BYOD and munchies. Location will be shared at the Pi House.
• Game time: 3:30pm against UMass. Get your own game tix through the University or whatever other means available to you
