The ONE Good Deed Fund, along with friends and collaborators, invites our older neighbors to come share a meal. On Thursday, December 18th from 4:30-6:30pm, we will open the doors to the Event Hall at the Old North End Community Center and provide a free roast turkey dinner with all the fixings with a vegetarian shepherd’s pie option and delicious desserts, and plenty of holiday cheer! If you are 55+ we hope you'll join us! Reserve your seat at ONEGoodDeedFund.org/events or by calling the Heineberg Senior Center at (802) 863-3982.Our gratitude goes out to Feeding Champlain Valley who is providing a turkey dinner for our guests with additional dishes and ingredients from Frankie's, Miss Weinerz, City Market, Deep City, Intervale Community Farm, Diggers' Mirth Collective, and Great Harvest; to Twincraft Skincare, Ursa Major, and HoneyBee Heather for providing gifts for guests and volunteers; to the ONE Community Dinner for their organizing and logistics help; to the Heineberg Senior Center for their support with registration and transportation; and to Champlain Housing Trust for the discounted rental fee for the Event Hall.
