2025 Holiday Lights Ride

Date: December 6, 2025

Start Location: Pasadena Memorial Park, Raymond Ave between Walnut and Holly

We'll be riding as a group up to Christmas Tree Lane's annual Winter Festival in Altadena and spending some time enjoying the lights, food and crafts before we ride back down to the park together. Christmas Tree Lane will be closed to car traffic!

Meet at the north end of the park at 4, roll at 4:30. We're starting a little earlier this year so we'll get there around before the lights go on. If you wish, you can walk up to the ceremony, which will include music and special guests.

You must sign a waiver to participate in the ride.

The route is approximately 11 miles total with 600 feet of elevation gain. This is a relatively gentle, steady climb with one brief steep section. This ride is NOT recommended for riders under 10 or for anyone who is new or just getting back to riding.

We will park our bikes and enjoy Christmas Tree Lane's Winter Festival on foot - wear or bring walking shoes! We'll have a volunteer or two watching the bikes. Bike lights are required! (We have a limited number of front and back lights to lend if you forget them but please don't forget them!) Bike decorations and festive holiday lights and attire are encouraged! Helmets are required for anyone under 18 and are recommended for everyone.
