The 2025 Health Summit: LA40by2030 Mapping the Distance to the Goal is an exciting conference dedicated to exploring innovative approaches and strategies to improve the health and well-being of our communities.
Join us on Sept 23 & 24, 2025 at Dillard University, 2601 Gentilly Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70122 for two days filled with insightful discussions, networking opportunities, and collaborative sessions.
The Louisiana Center for Health Equity, in collaboration with the Louisiana Department of Health, Pennington Biomedical Research Center, Dilard University and additional partners, is pleased to announce the 2025 Health Summit: LA40by2030 Mapping the Distance to the Goal. The Summit will open on Tuesday, September 23rd at 1:00 pm (registration opens at noon) and resume on Wednesday, September 24 at 8:30 AM (registration opens at 8:00 am) with breaks.
The purpose of the 2025 Health Summit is to improve health in Louisiana by focusing on outcomes for women and children. The ultimate goal of our collective work is LA40by2030, or for Louisiana to rank in the top 40 for health outcomes by 2030. This work includes identifying, developing, and promoting practices and policies to support children and families.
The summit will focus on the following topics:
- Data-Driven Progress Toward LA40by2030
- Advancing Health Equity Through Policy and Systems Change
- Strategizing Evidence-Based Solutions to Accelerate Progress
- Enhancing Community Engagement and Partnerships
- Youth Leadership and Intergenerational Health Equity
Who Should Attend?
Healthcare professionals, health centers, service providers, insurers, researchers, service coordinators and case managers, community health workers, educators, community, faith-based and non-profit organizations and businesses, as well as policymakers, governmental, local and state elected officials, community leaders and organizers, health and social justice advocates, and the general public will convene to work together on promoting alignment and collaboration to support better health outcomes across Louisiana.
Continuing Education Opportunities
As an incentive, we are applying for continuing education credits for physicians, nurses, attorneys, and social workers.

Group rate - $135/per person, minimum of 3 (On sale now through Sept 12)

Regular Registration Rate - $150 (Open Now, Ends Aug 23rd)
Late Registration rate - $175 (Starts Aug. 23rd, Ends Sept 19th)
Onsite registration rate - $195 (Opens Sept 23rd)
