2025 GovState Honors College Annual Retreat

Get to know other Honors College students at our 2025 Annual Retreat! Students will get to participate in one of three escape rooms at Escapology Escape Rooms Orland Park.

Rooms they are planning to do, which you can read about here:

• Batman: The Dark Knight Challenge (6 spots available)
• Scooby Doo and the Spooky Castle Adventure (8 spots available)
• TH3 C0D3 (8 spots available)

Each escape room is an hour.

Transportation: If students do not have their own ride or are not carpooling, Up to 6 STUDENTS MAX will be able to ride in a vehicle supplied by the Honors College departing campus at 3:15pm.

Students will need to arrive by 3:45p to choose your room, sign waivers, and meet the game hosts. Escape room challenges begin promptly at 4p, and last for 60 minutes. You’ll work together in teams to complete your mission before time runs out! After escaping, students will enjoy dinner together at Maiz & Barro Mexican Grill (6050 W. 159th St, Oak Forest, IL, 60452) See the menu at https://maizbarro.com/. Dinner will take place following the escape room, approximately 5:30p.
