Have you ever been told that you run funny? This is the race for you! Join your favorite CSz Richmond players in the funniest 5K fundraiser you've ever run. All proceeds go towards our nonprofit comedy theater, which has helped Richmond-area families laugh for more than 25 years.The day will start with a one-mile (approximately) kids run around the lake. Then the regular race starts. 5K for glory. And when we say "glory" we mean "working up a good appetite for brunch." Fastest folks in the front, slowest folks in the back. Hey, you can't ALL stand in the back! The race is not officially timed, so there's no pressure to run fast. If you want to run fast, knock yourself out. We won't judge.
Need a joke to help you keep running? Your favorite CSz improv performers will be along the course to make sure you don't get lost but DO get a laugh. Run, walk, skip, or sashay. This is the run with no judgement, whatsoever. Families, pets, and costumes encouraged.
Kids signing up for the 1 Mile run are welcome to join their parents/guardians in the 5K for free.
