Join us for the 2025 FIRST SOUTHERN CHURCH PICNIC on SATURDAY, OCTOBER 18th! It's going to be a great time of fellowship and fun for all ages and promises to have something for everyone!
The Picnic will begin at 11:00 am, dinner will be at 12:00 noon, and the CORNHOLE TOURNAMENT and TRIVIA will start at 1:00 pm.
INFLATABLES will be blown up and ready for the kids throughout the day
along with door prize giveaways, live music, popcorn, games, and more!
For lunch, we're having a good ol' FRIED CHICKEN DINNER. The church will provide the fried chicken and drinks. We are asking everyone to bring two of the following: a side, a salad, or a dessert to share. And back by popular demand, we will have a KIDS BUFFET! This will be a designated food line for kids only with all their favorites.
When you arrive, you will be given a ticket for a chance to win one of many DOOR PRIZE baskets. This year, you can earn more tickets by bringing school supplies and breakfast bars for Harrison High School.
These DONATIONS will be used for The Harrison Outreach Project to provide supplies for the teachers and snacks for students in need. Specific needs will be posted in the foyer.
Our afternoon activities include BIBLE TRIVIA and our annual CORNHOLE TOURNAMENT. For Trivia, gather a team, grab a table, and test your knowledge of the Bible.
All ages are welcome. Each team can have
up to 8 people. For Cornhole, sign-ups will be available at the Resource Table and the day of the Picnic until 12:00 noon.
The tournament will be made up of 2 person teams and will be single elimination. You can
sign up either with a partner or as an individual and we'll match you up with someone.
