Sacred Hope: A Gospel-Centered Approach to Gender Identity
Host: Derek Hisson

Info: As questions and opinions about gender identity continue to flood our culture, it has never been more important for God's people to be prepared to engage in this discussion with the truth and love of the gospel. In this workshop, we will discuss the importance of holding firm to God's design for gender, while also exploring how we can point individuals to the hope found in Christ alone.

๐Ÿ•‘: 10:45 AM
Rooted in Christ, Resolved in Identity, Released for Mission
Host: Sarah Mudde

Info: It's been said that our students are the future of the church. What would flip in our churches if we saw our students playing an integral role in the church now? This workshop will equip leaders to mobilize the church to help students become rooted in a personal lasting faith in Christ, resolved in their identity and convictions, and released to serve, lead, and live on mission, not just someday - but now. We'll explore innovative, practical ways to disciple students through church involvement, missions, and mentorship, cultivating a faith they can own and a purpose they can pursue.

๐Ÿ•‘: 10:45 AM
Developing A Youth Worship Team
Host: Bob Lane

Info: Youth worship is a crucial but at times overlooked ministry within the church. Not only does it begin to shape our students view of what worship is, or rather what it should be, it (more importantly) is some of the most fertile ground to develop the future worship leaders, pastors, and instrumentalists of this next generation. It is a place where students can fail, succeed, mess up, be celebrated, and ultimately be cultivated into the we leaders we need in our churchโ€ฆbut we need to Shepard them. This breakout session is going to discuss the importance of youth worship, how to develop and disciple a team, best practices, and what tools our students need to be learning as they head out into worship ministry.

๐Ÿ•‘: 11:45 AM
Helping Our Youth Build a Better Sexual Ethic
Host: Krysta Szkarlat

Info: If purity culture gave us a sexual ethic rooted in shame, todayโ€™s digital, hookup, & pornified culture offers one of disconnectionโ€”from our bodies, emotions, one another, & the deeper meaning of our sexuality as a reflection of Godโ€™s image, covenantal love, & the sacredness of embodied connection. So how can we help young people develop a sexual ethic that is both deeply personal & truly embodies the way of Jesus? This session will help youth leaders not only guide teens, but also reflect on & develop their own sexual ethic, so they can lead with consistency and integrity from a place of deeper understanding. Together, weโ€™ll explore how to integrate Godโ€™s vision for sexuality & the unique values God has placed within each of us into a more robust, faith-informed sexual ethicโ€”not merely a list of doโ€™s and donโ€™ts. A deeply personal, values-aligned ethic empowers us to faithfully steward our sexuality not just before marriage, but through every stage of life. You'll leave equipped!

๐Ÿ•‘: 11:45 AM
Gen Alpha - A New Beginning
Host: Tim Teakle

Info: Generation Alpha is redefining the future with their unparalleled digital savviness, deep focus on social impact, and demand for authenticity. As the first truly digital-only generation, they prioritize creativity, inclusion, and mental health, shaping how brands and organizations must engage with them. From gaming platforms like Roblox to purpose-driven career aspirations, Gen Alpha seeks meaningful experiences that blend the virtual and real worlds. This new beginning challenges us to innovate, adapt, and connect through stories, empathy, and opportunities, paving the way for a brighter, more impactful tomorrow. Ready to embrace the future?

๐Ÿ•‘: 11:45 AM
Disciplemaking Diagnostic
Host: Elyse Jackson

Info: This will be a workshop-style session where we will think through how we are discipling the young people that are in our sphere of influence. We will use some challenges of Christ from John as a simple diagnostic to find ideas about how we can best use our time with them. This is an opportunity to reflect for small group leaders or anyone doing direct discipleship with students, regardless of level of experience.

๐Ÿ•‘: 11:45 AM
Using Missions as a Way of Forming Youth
Host: Hartley Russell

Info: Our goal is to see youth fully formed in their faith. Thereโ€™s so many aspects of a healthy ministry, but one that is usually underdeveloped is missions. Could missions be more than just a once a year mission trip? And could getting our youth in engaged in mission before they graduate high school be a significant part of them continuing to engage in their faith into post secondary? Join this workshop as we discuss how important it is to have a missional strategy and approach to making disciples.

๐Ÿ•‘: 01:45 PM
One Question That Can Save A Life
Host: Kyle Rolph

Info: Have you ever worried that someone you care about might be thinking about suicide, but you werenโ€™t sure how to bring it up? This honest, practical workshop will help you recognize the signs that someone may be in crisis and give you the tools to approach them with confidence, care, and compassion. Youโ€™ll learn how to ask the one question that can open the door to life-saving conversations and how to connect them to ongoing life-giving resources.
Rooted in Biblical values of love, empathy, and community, this session is about showing up for others in their hardest momentsโ€”and letting them know theyโ€™re not alone. Learning when and how to effectively ask this one question is a game changer and will save lives!

๐Ÿ•‘: 01:45 PM
Church & Camp Ministries: Complementary, Not Contradictory
Host: Dan Malloy

Info: Have you ever wondered why that one youth that went to camp for the summer hasn't engaged with the church or youth group again? Have you come back from camp and resented the church a bit for being bland in comparison? Have you wondered why parents pay large sums of money to send their youth to camps or retreats when the church is thriving and being faithful? Even if you haven't, come to this session to talk about how Church ministry and Camp ministry can compliment one another to be greater than the sum of it's parts and how, as youth leaders, you can be preparing your youth to get the most out of their summers.

๐Ÿ•‘: 01:45 PM
Lessons From the Wilderness to Develop Young Leaders
Host: Matthew Gray

Info: The wilderness is a powerful classroom that God used throughout Scripture to develop his people and prepare them for leadership. In this session, Matt will share about Coldwater's approach to discipleship and leadership development in the wilderness. He will identify the long-term impact of wilderness programs in the lives of youth and young adults and will share insights about how we can translate strategies that work in the wilderness to ministries in our churches and communities.

๐Ÿ•‘: 01:45 PM
AI & the Next Generation: Navigating Innovation, Influence, & Integrity in YM
Host: Tyler Legouffe

Info: Artificial Intelligence is rapidly reshaping how we live, think, and engage โ€” and youth are at the center of this transformation. In this breakout, weโ€™ll explore how AI can be a powerful tool for ministry: from content creation to communication and discipleship. But weโ€™ll also confront the challenges โ€” from ethical concerns to the ways AI can distort truth, identity, and worldview. Join us for a practical and thought-provoking session that equips you to engage AI with discernment, use it with purpose, and lead students toward clarity in an increasingly complex digital world.*
