Info: Join us for our keynote program featuring Dr. Valencia Hicks-Harris, executive director and founder of Empower All. Dr. Hicks-Harris, one of the first graduates of the Educational Equity Doctoral Program at North Carolina State University, will lead us in exploring the theme "One Community, Many Generations" and discuss the vital role of engaging citizens across all age groups.

With over 12 years of experience in education, including teaching in Wake County Public Schools, Dr. Hicks-Harris is a trailblazer dedicated to diversifying the teacher pipeline, promoting culturally relevant pedagogy, increasing representation in STEM fields, and addressing the mental health challenges affecting our youth. Her doctoral dissertation focused on Educational Equity, reflecting her commitment to ensuring equitable education for all students. Join us as we learn from her insights and experience in advancing education and community engagement.
