Disasters and emergencies, whether natural or human-caused, can occur anytime and anywhere. Interprofessional preparedness by nurses, pharmacists, and other first responders requires advanced planning to utilize a comprehensive, all-hazards approach for response and recovery efforts. Join us for a presentation on how collaboration within healthcare disciplines mitigates barriers and improves services during a crisis event.
The East Carolina University College of Nursing will host a presentation Oct. 23 from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm, at the CON building, room 1150. Participants will receive 4 contact hours for participation.
Speakers include Dr. Michelle Skipper, Dr. Hoai-ai Truong, Dr. Ryan Boasi and Dr. Ann Clarke.
