Thank you all for making 2025 such a monumental year for DSA!

To celebrate, the Dallas Screenwriters Association is throwing our 2025 DSA Holiday Party in Studio 3/The Black Box at KD Studios on Tuesday, December 16, starting at 6:30 pm.
Join us for food, drinks, conversation, music, and fun!

Once again this year, we will be having a Raffle for prizes. You'll be able to purchase your raffle tickets at the party (Cash is great!), and the drawing will take place at the end of the night. Those who, before the date of the party, have already renewed or bought a new membership for 2026 will get a FREE bonus raffle ticket to enter!
So, renew, renew, renew NOW at the DSA Join Now page to get a head start in snagging a prize.

We'll also continue holding a Self-Promotion opportunity for our holiday party. If you have anything industry or media related you want to promote – your movie, your services, or YOURSELF – bring it to the party to share!
This is open to Writers, Actors, Filmmakers, Crew Members, and even Authors. So, bring plenty copies of your business cards, headshots, resumes, etc. to leave on the table for others to pick up.

If you have a reel or short video or a slide you want to show on screen, you can do that, too! We will showcase it during the night. But you MUST submit these to the party organizers by Friday, December 12th at 7:00pm. You can submit via email to [email protected]. Please keep all submissions to 2 minutes or less.

The party is free to attend for Members, Actors, and those who have attended multiple DSA events (Scene Reads, meetings, etc.) this year. The cost is $10 for any new guests.
Donations are also greatly appreciated to help cover the expenses for the party and DSA events for 2026.

PLEASE help us prepare for the DSA Holiday Party by sending your RSVP to [email protected] by Thursday, December 11th at 6:00pm so that we can know how much food to get. Put "2025 Annual DSA Party" in the subject line. Also include if you are a vegetarian, vegan, or have a gluten allergy.

We are excited to spend some time closing out 2025 and ushering in 2026 with you all. See you December 16th!
