Surprise! We’re celebrating the festive season with a last-minute Christmas pop-up Super 10s, because nothing says “festive spirit” like 200 metres of chaos, costumes, and crews sprinting down the course in full tinsel.
This is a quick-fire, fun-focused regatta with fast racing, good vibes, and a prize for the Best Dressed Crew, so unleash the elves, Santas, reindeer, and questionable Christmas costumes. The brighter, the better.

Join us at Westhaven Marina for the Auckland Christmas Super 10 Series – short, sharp, small boat 200m racing with big winter vibes.
🕒 Sunday 7th December
- 8:00am – Arrival, tent setup (1 x 3x3m per team, bring weights) and get boats ready
- 8:45am – Team managers & sweeps meeting at race control
- 9:00am – First race
- Approx. 12:00am – Fun Race! (We’ll pair up crews for a friendly fun race)
- 12:30pm – Approximate finish
🚣‍♀️ Race Format:
- 200m course
- 2x heats + 1 final
- Final placings based on cumulative times from the two best heats
- FUN RACE - Weather dependent (could be a relay, could be 2 teams coming together for the standard races - who knows ;))
💥 Race Divisions:
- Mixed, Women’s, Breast Cancer Survivors (min. 3 entries per division)
- Mixed = min. 4 female paddlers
- Women’s/BCS teams can have a male sweep/caller
- All teams will race in the same class for heats
- Drummers are mandatory
- 10 paddlers max / 8 paddlers min per boat
FANCY DRESS
- Bring your Christmas theme gear with you. Prizes for best dressed!
