Bishop Douglas Deshotel will celebrate the 2025 Chrism Mass on Thursday, April 17, at 10 AM at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist in Lafayette. Each year on Holy Thursday, the Bishop gathers with all of the priests of the diocese to bless the Sacred Oils to be used in the coming year. Additionally, the priests of the diocese renew their commitment to priestly service.
