Cap off your 2025 Cherokee Street Jazz Crawl experience with a headlining performance by St. Louis' own Sweetie & The Tooth Aches + the annual All-Styles Dance Battle.

The Cherokee Jazz Crawl’s All-Styles Dance Battle invites dancers of all ages and genres – from break dance to ballet – to battle against each other for the crown & cash prize. Join MC Grand Martell & DJ Nyara for 4 dance battle rounds, beginning at 6:30pm.

Dancers can sign up to compete in the dance battle on-site starting at 6pm.

Please note: the dance battle will start the event with preliminary rounds upstairs (elevator accessibility is available upon request); the final two rounds of the dance battle will be integrated into the headlining performance so that the dancers can battle in collaboration with musicians while the audience cheers them on

Sweetie & The Toothaches are celebrating 10 years as St. Louis’ Premier Jump Blues Band! Their powerhouse 7+ piece band performs jump blues, jazz and RnB classics as well as original tunes inspired by legends like Ray Charles, Louis Prima and Huey Lewis. Sweetie & The Toothaches pay homage to the rich musical traditions of the past while infusing their performances with a modern sensibility that keeps audiences coming back for more. Whether they're delivering high-energy dance numbers or soul-stirring ballads, the band's infectious enthusiasm and undeniable talent make every show a memorable experience.
