Lurie Cancer Center’s Cancer Survivors’ Celebration Walk & 5K is a unique opportunity for cancer survivors, supporters, scientists and health professionals to connect, celebrate milestones and make an impact on the future of cancer care. The fundraiser features a noncompetitive walk or chip-timed 5K race for three miles along Chicago’s lakefront, T-shirts, refreshments, music and entertainment, activities for the family and a chance to share a message on the Dedication Wall.
Registration is now open. Advances in cancer prevention and treatment — based on life-changing research — give us more reasons and more cancer survivors to celebrate each year. Imagine what we can achieve together! Fundraising is not mandatory but is highly encouraged.
