Distinguished Research Award
Franz Meyer, remote sensing professor and chief scientist at the Alaska Satellite Facility in the Geophysical Institute
Distinguished Teaching Award
Sabine Siekmann, professor of applied linguistics and foreign languages in the College of Liberal Arts
Distinguished Service Award
Sean Walklin, associate professor of culinary arts and hospitality at the Community and Technical College
The event will include dinner, entertainment by the UAF Alumni Band, live painting by UAF student artists and an outcry auction for a variety of UAF VIP experiences.
