We invite you to attend the 2nd Annual Age-Friendly, Livable Communities Summit and Expo, themed "Creating Community Connections." This event will take place at the West Central Community Center on September 11th. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about livable communities and healthy aging in an engaging environment that also features refreshments and door prizes.
Vice Mayor BJ Wyrick will give the opening welcome, followed by entertainment from comedian Nate Williams. Sessions will cover caregiving, nutrition for healthy aging, firearm safety, suicide prevention, grief support, exercise, and digital learning. Todd Yakoubian of Channel 4 KARK will discuss disaster preparedness for seniors. Over 20 exhibitors will offer information and resources. Mark your calendars and join us!
