A first-of-its-kind conference and expo focusing on sustainable practices that support people, plants, and planet. It will shine a light on how sustainability and innovation intersect with personal healing, growing herbs, protecting at-risk plants, maintaining healthy soil, cultivating communities, and becoming active personally or in business. With live activities and interactions with speakers, it will expand the experience of an online botanical expo.

Dr. Judith Thompson - Dr. Judith Thompson is a Naturopathic Doctor with a focus in herbs, homeopathy, nutrition, mind-body stress management, and women and children’s health. She has been in private practice working with people of all ages since 2005 working as a doula and later as a birth assistant and midwife, and in regenerative medicine at the Life Extension Foundation. Dr. Thompson has published articles on the mind-body connection to health and various natural remedies in international medical journals and is the co-author of a children’s health book. She has worked extensively with Florida Naturopathic Physicians Association, the House of Delegates of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, and as Executive Director of the Naturopathic Medicine Institute for three years. She has been teaching at the university level since 2007. Dr. Thompson is currently the Dean of Herbal Medicina at ACHS and is actively participating in The Sustainable Herbs Initiative at the American Botanical Council.

Amanda Lattin - Amanda Lattin has been a practicing aromatherapist and herbalist since 2007, running her own consulting practice in Portland Oregon and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to incorporate aromatherapy and herbalism into their clients support plans. Amanda has over 20 years experience in science and health education, teaching chemistry, biochemistry, herbal medicine, aromatherapy, and phytochemistry at several colleges and universities and for continuing education for healthcare professionals. She has published several peer reviewed articles, case studies, and conference presentations focusing on the theory and applications of scientific holism, including the necessity of sustainability, in integrative health. Amanda has been on the Alliance of International Aromatherapists Board of Directors since 2021, actively participating in efforts to support sustainable practices within the aromatherapy profession and supply chain. She is currently the Dean of Aromatherapy at the American College of Healthcare Sciences.
