2025-26 NOCCA Audition Preparation | Dance

Current 6-11th grade students with a minimum of one year experience in dance.

The Workshop will be led by NOCCA faculty. The classes will take place on the campus of NOCCA. It is free to apply and free to participate.

Requirements for Participants:

Having proper dance attire is an essential part of dance and is important for a successful dance audition.

For this audition prep workshop all participants should come prepared each day in the proper dance attire and shoes. Hair should be pulled back off of the face and neck in a neat and secure bun or natural puff.

No jewelry (including earrings, necklaces, rings, bracelets, watches, etc) is allowed and cannot be worn in dance classes.

Proper dance shoes must be worn to ensure the safety and proper assessment of participants.

• Plain black tank leotard
• Pink or flesh tone tights and pink or flesh tone ballet shoes for Ballet (tights and shoes must match in color)
• Black convertible tights for Jazz, Modern and Tap
• Black or tan jazz shoes and black lace-up oxford tap shoes
