Paint a clay skull for Dia de los Muertos with local artist, Ryan Hudson. He has hand-built each skull, each one unique & ready to paint!
Ages: 16+
Plan a craft day with friends or family and get your hands on some paint! Ryan Hudson, local painter and sculptor has hand-formed these cute small skulls for your Day of the Dead decor and festivities. Each one unique, they are ready to paint, and are the perfect size for gifts or your Dia de los Muertos altar.
Traditionally, Mexican sugar skulls and skeletons are not meant to scare people but rather bring them joy, laughter and serve as a way to honor lost loved ones...keeping memories alive. You could paint one in memory of a certain person you wish to remember or just for fun!
No experience needed, beginners welcome too! Ryan will assist with acrylic paint technique and tips.
