About the WOPHA Congress

The WOPHA Congress is a four-day creative gathering designed to provide a critical space for photography by bringing together worldwide photography organizations, art historians, theorists, and curators who aim to build upon and better represent the dynamic history of women photographers from the 19th Century through today.

Building on the success of its inaugural edition in 2021, this year's Congress features the largest number of South Florida women photographers to date and fosters significant cultural partnerships, furthering WOPHA’s mission to create “a meeting place for the international photography community and reframe the future of photography education.”
