Series Overview: The PTS Winter Series consists of 4 challenging trail events in the hills surrounding Perth, Western Australia. Events range from 5 to 50kms, with all events having a choice of three distance options and a bonus fourth option for the final event! The series is designed to challenge both new and experienced trail runners, collecting points making it possible to track your improvements.

Events have limited numbers and we do sell out, so sign up early to avoid missing out!

Distances listed are approximate. Please visit the individual page to see exact distance. (Our rough guide is: Green~5km, Blue~10km, Black~15-25km, Double Black 50km)

26 May 2024 - Snakes N Ladders, Serpentine NP, (3 distances - 6km / 10km / 15km)

9 June 2024 - Eagle and Child, Redhill Auditorium, (3 distances - 5km / 10km / 21km)

What colour is for me? (our guide, but it's up to you to decide)

Green: Walk or Run - It's all about Fun! We all hike up the hills! Are you ready for Adventure and Nature?(Distances range from 4-6km on remote trail)

Blue: You love running and your friends think you’re fit! You can comfortably run 10km in the city. Distances range from ~9km-14km and for most runners it’s ~90min+ time on trail. If you’re currently active and looking for a good time mixed with a bit of challenge, get a mate and do this together!

Black: For the experienced runners! Distances range from ~15km-25km These challenges can take a few hours! And training is key. You’ve gotta get in the training to enjoy these, so get your training mate and have some friendly accountability competition!

Double Black: For the very experienced runners looking for the ultimate challenge! Distances range from ~30km-100km These feats can take all day! And training is key. You’ve gotta train to complete these, so get your training mate and a program because you’ll need it!

What am I required to bring?

1. You must carry a hydration system that will hold a minimum of 500ml for the duration of the event. This could be a handheld, a pack, or a waist belt. We recommend most runners carry at least 1 litre due to remote locations. Double Black distances require additional water. Recommended item: Emergency + App

2. You must wear your race bib at all times during the event.

3. A positive, prepare for anything attitude!

When do I collect my Event Bib/Series Shirt?

Bib pickup for all Winter Series events is on event day only at the Start/Finish area from 7:00am - 7:50am. See individual event information on the website.

If the ticket you purchased includes a shirt, it will be at the Start/Finish area at the first event.

Will I receive more information?

Yes! The Wednesday prior to the event we send out an EVENT BRIEF email.

It will include all the specifics to help you be best prepared for the day.

Minimum age requirements for CHILDREN to enter the event?

PTS Kids/Teens/U1 6POLICY

We love to welcome children to our events.

Children must meet some requirements: If your child meets the minimum age and experience requirement for an event you are welcome to register them into the event. Children also require the parent/guardian to email [email protected] to confirm their event registration.

Green Course - minimum age is 6 years old. Child must be accompanied parent/guardian for the entirety of the Green Course if under the age of 12 years old.

Blue Course - minimum age is 12 years old. Child must have completed three Green Course events prior to running a Blue course event. Child must be accompanied parent/guardian the first time running the Blue Course.

Black Course - minimum age is 16 years old. Child must have completed three Blue Course events prior to running a Black course event. Child must be accompanied by parent/guardian first time running the Black Course.

Double Black Course- minimum age is 18 years old.

If your child meets the minimum age and experience requirement for an event you are welcome to register them into the event. We also require the parent/guardian to email [email protected] to confirm their event registration.

When does registration close?

Winter Series Registration closes 21 May 2024 unless sold out earlier.

Registration for individual events will remain open until the Tuesday prior to each event unless sold out earlier.
