Please join us for our Annual Winnipeg Walk to Remember. We walk in memory of our babies gone too soon, in pregnancy, birth or soon after. This event is open to the public, for anyone who has lost a baby, or would like to support those who have. This event is FREE, but we do ask for donation in lieu of registration. Each donation (of any amount) will receive one ticket for the door prize.
Donations are used to help us put on our walks and any excess money is donated to the bereavement units of local hospitals or other organizations to provide support and resources for newly bereaved parents.
We will again be meeting in St. Vital Park, picnic area that we usually gather.
There will be a short Remembrance Ceremony and a moment of silence before the walk with refreshments and fellowship following. We also do a group photo for anyone who wishes to participate. Volunteers are needed and donations are appreciated. Please contact the WTR committee.
