Join us for one of the most fun days of the year at Washburn Tech, our annual Car Show, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m, Friday, May 3. The pre-registration fee is $20, or register the day of the show for $25. Registration starts as early as 7:30 a.m., and it includes biscuits and gravy and coffee served by our Culinary program. Register inside the West Building. There will also be a Silent Auction from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., and a Bake Sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. (or until sold out). There will be dash plaques for the first 100 entries!
The Car Show benefits Washburn Tech's Care Closet, which provides financial relief to currently enrolled students experiencing hardships that may interfere with their academic progress. The Care Closet addresses food insecurity, provides hygiene supplies and household goods, makes available gift cards for fuel and offers emergency funds to students in need of assistance. This free and confidential supportive service has an impact on the daily lives and futures of Washburn Tech Students.
