Welcome to the 2024 Disability Sport & Recreation Awards!

Come and join us to celebrate the achievements and contributions of people with disability; those who support them and the inclusive sport and recreation sector across the state.

The annual Victorian Disability Sport and Recreation (VDSR) Awards recognise excellence and acheivements from athletes, volunteers, officials, administrators, clubs, venues, and programs that enable and empower people with disability to get active and achieve their goals.

​The awards provide an opportunity to discover notable champions and rising stars and celebrate what is great about accessible and inclusive sport.

Get ready for a memorable evening filled with inspiring stories, heartwarming moments, and well-deserved recognition. Let's come together to show our support and appreciation for those who are breaking barriers and making a positive impact in the world of disability sports and recreation.

The Event

The event will commence at 5.00pm with networking drinks and canape's overlooking Melbourne's skyline and the sporting precinct, followed by the awards ceremony featuring MC Lachlan Wills and Guest Speakers.

The ceremony will provide the opportunity to acknowledge all nominees and hear from the winner of each category on stage with Lachlan.

At the conclusion of the formal ceremony, the event will continue with more networking opportunities and drinks and canape service.
