All are welcome. Admission is free for spectators. Show cars pay $10 at the gate. Our beneficiary this year is John Fanthorpe.On Father's Day, 2023, John handed the keys to his 1977 Corvette to his son Simon. He had noticed his vision was a bit strange and wanted Simon to have the fun of driving the Corvette for the first time. Arriving at Captain Sundae, John fainted, landed on his face and broke both eye orbits, a cheekbone and his nose. He was taken by ambulance to Zeeland Hospital. After a CT scan, he went home to recover. Things went downhill quickly from there. He has received a life-saving operation, a Craniotomy, after debilitating headaches, being re-evaluated and diagnosed with a large brain bleed. At this point, John is not able to work as the beloved Farm Burean Insurance agent he has been for many years in this area.
Now it's time to give him a "hand up". Car People are such a big-hearted group! Let's show up and have a great evening while helping this precious car guy and fellow club member of the Vintage Car Club of Holland. Come out and make the night a success.
ALL donations will go directly to John.
"The Mobile Crave" food truck will be available on site.
