One of Shakespeare's latest plays, and perhaps his most hopeful in the end, Cymbeline is as playful and fun-loving as it is moving and ultimately inspiring. Young lovers, wicked stepmothers, and long-lost brothers inhabit a near fairytale world where the ill intentions of a few threaten the happiness of all, so that even the Hangman is left left longing for a world in which we are "all of one mind, and one mind good."
