Join us on May 11 at Rodriguez High School in Fairfield for the 2024 Solano County Campus Walk! All are welcome. Register today at http://www.afsp.org/solanoMany people first learn about the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention's (AFSP) lifesaving work through our walks. Though the Campus Walks only launched in 2010, they sparked a grassroots movement on high schools and colleges across the country that continues to gain momentum each year.
Why Walk?
Because we need to change the culture. Depression, bipolar, anxiety disorder, and other mental health conditions will affect 1 in 4 of us during our lives, and yet too often these illnesses go untreated. In the United States alone someone attempts suicide every minute.
Because students can save lives. Students are a force for change. Be a part of this walk and join thousands of students across the country to raise money for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
Because we can prevent suicide.
Together we can bring mental health conditions like depression and anxiety out of the darkness and put a stop to this loss of life.
Walk to support a friend, a loved one, or yourself. We all have a reason to walk, and each reason connects us.
