About this Event
The 2024 High School Art & Media Workshop Day gives students the opportunity to visit the SLCC Center for Arts and Media and participate in exciting workshops led by distinguished faculty from the School of Arts, Communication and Media. With topics covering everything from film and fashion to digital media and more, there’s a class for everyone!
Registration opens on Oct. 1 at 9 AM
PLEASE SIGN UP FOR ONLY ONE WORKSHOP - each in-depth workshop will take up the full event. Workshop seats are limited - Registration for individual workshops will no longer show up as available once they fill.
The workshops are open to all 9th-12th grade high school students that have instructor approval. Registration is $8 (plus a small processing fee) and covers lunch and supplies. The day will begin with a kick-off event at 9:30 AM, followed by workshops at 10:00 AM. Boxed lunches will be available after the event, so students can grab them as they leave, or eat lunch on our campus.
Registration for the workshops ends on Wednesday, Oct. 30 at 4:00 PM. No registrations will be accepted after this date. Registration is non-refundable. There are a limited number of free Teacher Passes for instructors who are accompanying groups of students to the event.
