We have one more event to close out our exhibition season and that is our Slam 101 Workshop/Presentation! This workshop will give you the tools to compete in poetry slams such as preparation, strategy and so much more! We will hear from team members about their experience of being on a slam team and competing in other big slam tournaments or one day cash prize slams. Those same team members will give you their experiences with slam from their beginning to now. We will also have a 2 round slam right after to put everything we talked about to the test so bring your poems!
Doors open at 6:30, presentation starts right at 7:30, slam will be right after, and it’s only $5 to attend.
This also doubles as a welcome home from SoFried 2024 with the team! Come show some love to these poets!
