On Friday, August 16th, we’ll be celebrating the annual return of the silver salmon and the historic derby with a gala-style extravaganza!

Get ready to showcase your style and flair by dressing to impress in your finest silver-themed attire. Take home a prize for “Best Dressed,” and other exciting prizes and titles. Your ticket includes a night of food, dancing, and fun. Beer and wine will be available for purchase.

This year, the event is also a fish restoration fundraiser to buy more smolt and replenish the fish that were caught during the derby.

Join the festivities from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and grab your tickets for just $40 to secure your place at the grandest celebration in town. Prepare to be dazzled, delighted, and amazed at this enchanting evening of elegance and excitement.

Updates to the derby this year:

• There are no limits to the number of side pots you can enter.

• A prize package will be awarded to the charter captain who brings in the biggest fish if applicable.

Grand Prizes For Catching A Tagged Fish:

There are 10 prizes for catching a tagged fish including $20,000, $10,000, and $5,000. There are seven chances to win up to $1,500. They are sponsored by Sunny Cove Kayaking, Gray Light Lodging, and Latitude 60 Marine, Seward Ocean Excursions, Captain Jack's Seafood Locker, Puffin Fishing Charters and Howling Wolf Glamour Camp.
